Frequently asked questions
Is this emergency care?
No. For chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, severe weakness, confusion, bleeding, uncontrolled pain, or any urgent concern, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Does this replace my primary doctor, specialist, hospital team, or rehab team?
No. This is advisory support to help you understand your care and prepare better questions for your treating clinicians.
Can family members join?
Yes. These visits are often most useful when the patient and key family decision-makers can attend together.
Can you review records?
Records such as discharge paperwork, medication lists, recent labs, imaging summaries, appointment lists, and specialist instructions may help. The exact workflow should be confirmed before sending sensitive information.
Do you prescribe medications?
Gulati Health does not generally replace your treating clinician for medication prescribing or urgent medical management. Any prescribing, telehealth eligibility, licensure, and privacy workflow must be confirmed before a formal patient relationship is accepted.
What should I prepare before a consult?
Your top concerns, current medication list, discharge summary if available, recent labs or imaging reports, and upcoming appointment list.
